New Born

New Born is all about music that has only just entered the Prog world. Larne Peters presents new releases, exciting newcomers and fresh discoveries from across the international Progressive Rock scene.

The focus isn’t limited to established names with impressive promotional budgets. New Born also looks towards emerging bands, independent artists and lesser-known projects taking their first musical steps – perhaps even recording the album everyone will suddenly be talking about a few years from now.

Larne brings his many years of experience as a Prog connoisseur, radio presenter and interviewer to the show, always listening closely whenever something new begins to emerge. Think of New Born as the musical maternity ward of Sound of Prog. New music is admitted, carefully examined and then released directly into the unsuspecting ears of our listeners.
