Live on Air

Live on Air is the show where it all began. Originally, it was simply called Sound of Prog – because before Sound of Prog became a radio station of its own, that was exactly what it was: André Fedorow’s Progressive Rock show.
When the show eventually grew into the radio station Sound of Prog, the original programme needed a new name: Live on Air. And that name is meant quite literally.

André Fedorow is genuinely live behind the microphone. No pre-recorded show, no carefully assembled programme and, most importantly, no comforting “We’ll edit that out later.” Progressive Rock from across the decades, new releases, classics, long tracks and musical discoveries meet live presentation, stories, spontaneous ideas and whatever else may happen during a real radio broadcast.

To this day, Live on Air carries the original DNA of Sound of Prog: one show, one presenter, an unreasonable amount of Prog – and a microphone that is very definitely switched on. Live on Air – formerly Sound of Prog. The show where it all began. And when it says LIVE, we are pleased to report that it actually means LIVE.
